Apple’s expansion into the Balkan region revealed a key UX challenge on its website. Users struggled to find the option to switch to a local reseller, as it was only available on the home page. This led to confusion and frustration when they realized they couldn't purchase directly from Apple's site. This case study, designed in 2024,  analyzes the issue and presents a redesigned interface that improves navigation, makes reseller options more visible, and provides clearer messaging. The goal: a smoother shopping experience that supports Apple’s growth in the region.

Through extensive user research, including behavior analysis, customer feedback, and root cause analysis using the Five Why’s method, key pain points were identified. Four personas were developed to better understand user needs and expectations. The proposed design solution includes making the reseller switch option more prominent beyond the home page, integrating clear messaging about purchase availability, and redesigning the interface to provide seamless navigation.
These improvements aim to enhance the overall user experience, reduce confusion, and support Apple’s growth in the Balkan market.
